1 Adelia Gore
Scope and Content:Born is December 1854, the daughter of William Pitt Richardson and Sarah Elizabeth Smith. Her father had been breveted to General after the Battle of Chancellorsville (6 May 1863 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia), where he had fought as a Colonel in the 25th Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry and lost his arm. He was later noted as a lawyer in Marietta, Ohio. Adelia married John Gore in the 1870s. He had served as a drummer boy in the Confederate Army, and had been born in Tipper County, Indiana, in 1846. She died sometime after 1930, when she is recorded in the Indiana Census as Living in the city of Greenbur.

2 Rhea Gore
Scope and Content:Rhea was born in November 1881, the daughter of John Marcellius Gore and Adelia Richardson. She was born in Indiana and raised in Ohio. She later became a journalist. She met Walter Huston at the World Fair in St. Louis, marrying him on 31st December, 1904. They had a son, John, in 1906 and divorced in 1912. She later married Howard Eveleth Stevens, the chief engineer (1916-1928) and later vice-president for maintenance and operation (1928-1938) of the Northern Pacific Railroad. She moved to Los Angeles in 1939 to live with John and died soon afterwards.
